John M. Garlich, MD

John M. Garlich, MD is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service at Cedars Sinai Medical Center specializing in the acute and post-operative care of polytraumatized patients with fractures and other orthopedic injuries.

In addition, he manages post-operative complications of fractures (including infection, nonunion, and deformity) to the arm, leg, pelvis, and acetabulum. He has completed two trauma fellowships. The AO Trauma Foundation sponsored his first fellowship at Charite Hospital, in Berlin, Germany. His second was through the University of Texas in Houston at Memorial Herman Hospital. This is the busiest trauma center in the country and the top orthopedic trauma fellowship program. His research interests include fracture nonunion, artificial intelligence, VR, and augmented reality applications in orthopedic surgery.
